Mounts out.
I hadn't given the mounts a second thought until it was bought to my attention that it would be a good idea, and I'm glad I listened. I drilled out the bigger one, which is why it is in bits, it was in pretty bad shape, as was the smaller side, didn't take much to hammer the pipe section out either, I got in there with a small wire brush and got what crud was left, including the cavity where the handful of dirt fell out of a few weeks ago, a quick scraping and brushing netted another good handful of dirt and sand. I have a free day this coming Saturday when the family are attending a birthday that I'm not required at so I will be doing some serious cleaning, buffing, polishing and preparation for re-assembly. I have ordered some new mounts from Clauss Studios in the US, I have a box of bits including the new crank coming from Germany, I'm sourcing some hardware and the bearings locally and have a short list of parts coming from Melbourne over the next two weeks, my case from the US is in transit still as well, I hope to be on the road and running in again by Easter long weekend. Fingers crossed.
